人妻烹饪训练班之 Homemade Strawberry Jam

这次烹饪班要教大家的是草莓果酱。
其实果酱很容易做,而且小朋友也可以一起参与的哦。
基本上我这次会做果酱是因为我妈买了很多盒草莓
而且很酸 = = 我吃不完 有很多快要发霉了
所以我就狠心把它们都用来做果酱
anyway 不罗嗦

Homemade Strawberry Jam Ingredients
以上份量的瓶子需要:

1 box strawberry (around 2-3cups of strawberry)
1 - half cup sugar
3 tablespoon honey (its ok if you dont have honey, just replace with sugar)

*best store in a glass jar (boil the jar in hot water to kill da germs beforehand)

optional:
some lemon zest
2 tablespoon lemon juice
a pinch or two pinch of gelatin

-basically, just cut strawberries into cubes (depending what kinda texture you want your jam be, if you want to chew something, just rougly cut or else, just chop finely)
-Under medium high heat/high heat, dump lemon zest into the pan and add strawberry, lemon juice & sugar
-keep stirring and pressing the water out from your berry
 (dont be shock when you see alot of water coming out)
-when it come to a boil, add honey and turn your heat to medium low
-keep stirring until a sticky consistency (jam like) and most of the water evaporates
- turn off your heat, prepare your glass jar and pour in.
- close the lid (but not too tight) then place it in a boiling water again, for longer preservation.
about 5-10min, take it out and cool.


Then its ready! ^_^
******The KEY POINT IS KEEP STIRRING!******
